X Cyg

[12-03-2011]  X Cyg has an important history in our understanding of Cepheid variables.  These stars allow us to determine the distance to astronomical objects.  For details see the AAVSO web site at this url: http://www.aavso.org/vsots_xcyg

We are preparing a powerpoint slideshow to highlight some of our observations of this star.  We have requested a long series of images from SkyNet/Dolomiti telescope.  Light curves from the images we have so far are given below with a brief explanation.  A "finder chart" and a jpg of one of our SkyNet images [from Yerkes 41"] are also attached.
