Join our collaboration of students, teachers, researchers and engineers to find and explore the tiny worlds of our solar system. Images are taken by the Astronomical Research Institute and are provided by our website at the University of Chicago. Using the Astrometrica software you can download images to discover and confirm asteroids.

Download Images: Go to http://astro.uchicago.edu/yerkes/outreach/observing/iasc/lists/objectlist.html to get the images. Login is iasc password is iascsearch. The setup is described on this page on the Yerkes Projects website (login required).
Track 'n Stack: Instructions on how to track and stack images on the asteroid. Once you have studied this page you can go right to the following sites to get your images and figure out the Speed and Position Angle (PA) of the asteroid.
